Board Support Specialist Trainee | Olympia, WA
Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB) seeks a fulltime Board Support Specialist Trainee.
REQUIREMENTS
With guidance of a mentor, support the Board and clients by preparing documents and data for Board review and/or preparing documents for clients as directed by Board in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years of general office experience; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional Consent Form Editor | Olympia, WA
Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB) seeks a fulltime Professional Consent Form Editor. This is a telecommuting position.
REQUIREMENTS
Supports the Board and clients by preparing the client-submitted consent form for Board review as directed by WIRB. Preparation and editing of the consent form should be in accordance with Board Standard Processing Instructions (SPI), company policy and regulatory requirements. This position will be mentored by the Consent Form Manager to learn how to provide Board member level of judgment when required as part of the Operations processes. Interprets and applies the Federal Regulations, Board Standard Practice Instructions [SPI] and Guidelines in a manner to assure that WIRB® is in full compliance with all applicable regulations.
Client Services Specialist Trainee | Olympia, WA
Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB) seeks a fulltime Client Services Specialist Trainee.
REQUIREMENTS
Answers calls from and educates clients and potential clients (sponsors, investigators, CROs, SMOs) regarding all of WIRB’s operations while giving exceptional customer service. Conducts research on the status of protocol/study when necessary by working independently and with other departments to obtain needed information. Refers calls requiring higher authority to appropriate departments to be resolved. Reviews incoming clientservices@wirb.com emails and responds or forwards to appropriate department. Researches potential corrections. Researches billing inquires as requested by clients.
Consent Form Revision Specialist | Olympia, WA
Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB) seeks a fulltime Consent Form Revision Specialist in our Olympia, Washington office.
REQUIREMENTS
Support the Consent Form Editors by performing designated duties. The position will be trained in the duties of a regular Board member (including Expedited Review) and Consent Form Editor. A key duty is the maintenance of the standard template in conjunction with the CF Editors. The Specialist is assigned to a specific panel and along with the Board Member – Consent Form Editors assigned to that panel, attends all Board meetings as a non-member. This position will be mentored by the Consent Form Manager to learn how to provide Board member judgment when required as part of the Operations processes. Interprets and applies the Federal Regulations, Board Standard Practice Instructions [SPI] and Guidelines in a manner to assure that WIRB is in full compliance with all applicable regulations.
Software Developer | Olympia, WA
Western lnstitutional Review Board (WIRB) seeks a fulltime Software Developer in our Olympia, Washington office.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 3-5 years of specific experience (listed below); or 7-9 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of higher education and experience. The experience should be continuous. Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) certification required. Please provide a proof with the application. Managing complex applications in a live production environment. Development tools experience in Windows forms based application development, MVC, Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2003-2010, C#, VB.net, ASP.Net, Ajax, JavaScript, ASP, HTML, Visual Source Safe, XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, etc.. Database tool experience: SQL Server 2000-2008, Microsoft Access2000. Familiarity with Windows 2003 Server or later technology platforms and active directory; knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 or later versions.
